Miss America Opportunity

From being a Carolina Star (formerly known as Carolina Princess) as a young girl and watching role models grow through the Miss America Opportunity, Mary Michael knew from an early age she wanted Miss North Carolina’s Teen to be a part of her journey. In December of 2023, Mary Michael stepped on to the local preliminary stage at the Miss Johnston County pageant. Mary Michael was awarded the overall talent awarded and captured the title of Miss Johnston County’s Teen. Over the next 7 months she worked tirelessly with her mission of being Miss North Carolina’s Teen in mind. At the state pageant she was awarded a preliminary evening gown award ($250) and earned First Runner Up ($4,000) to 2024’s Miss North Carolina’s Teen, Kamryn Hollowell.    

On February 3rd, 2025 Mary Michael was crowned Miss Fayetteville’s Teen and will once again compete at Miss North Carolina’s Teen this summer!
