ABOUT
Mary Michael McLamb is a Four Oaks native and is passionate about creating a positive generational change. Mary Michael believes that with the right mission, mindset, and motivation, anything we set our sights on is doable. Whether it be implementing a free swim lesson program, rigorous dance most days of the week, deep sea fishing with her family, or participating in her local Girl Scout Troop, she recognizes the value in a good work ethic and smart goal setting to achieve her dreams. Mary Michael has a heart for service and helping others reach their goals, through this, she has been honored to receive two presidential service awards for community involvement.  She is absolutely honored to currently serve in the role of Miss Fayetteville’s Teen and is working to leave a legacy so each young girl is inspired to achieve their dreams.

Mary Michael is passionate about water safety in our youth. Through educating in classrooms, working with the American RedCross, providing free swim lessons, working with officials in communities, and partnering with national brands, she is working to change the predicted 945 children from losing their life next year

Lifeguarding!
A lifeguard is statistically 2 times more likely to correctly respond to a drowning victim than the average person! For that reason, having a trained guard monitoring a pool is critical. Mary Michael has created the platforms @needaguardfay and @needaguardjoco to make finding guards super simple! Last summer, Need A Guard JoCo staffed a pool so it was able to open. Mary Michael's current mission is to replicate this platform in Fayetteville to ensure no pool goes unwatched.
